U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, will be hosting a town hall in Newburyport on Saturday.

In the meeting, Warren will speak and answer questions about how she’s holding the Trump administration accountable. She will also discuss fighting for Massachusetts families in the Senate, a theme she speaks on frequently.

Doors open at 10 a.m. with Warren scheduled to speak at 10:30 a.m. in the Newburyport High School auditorium, at 241 High St. The event is expected to wrap up at 12:30 p.m.

Mayor Donna Holaday said the event is an important day for having politicians in the city.

“She’ll be talking about Washington and (President) Trump,” Holaday said. “Everyone should come listen to their senator speak.”
