Elizabeth Warren Raises $12.1 Million

Somerville, MA – U.S. Senate candidate and consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren announced today that her campaign had raised more than $12.1 million in the third quarter of 2012.
The most recent quarter also saw a continuation of the strong grassroots support she’s received throughout this campaign – more than 80% of donations were $50 or less and more than half were $25 or less.  More than 53,000 residents of Massachusetts have contributed to her campaign and more than 100,000 donations were made in Massachusetts.  September was also the single best month so far of the campaign with more than $7 million raised in that month alone.

“Tens of thousands of people across Massachusetts have joined this campaign because they know that Elizabeth will fight for them in the U.S. Senate,” said Michael Pratt, Finance Director.  “While Scott Brown has stood with billionaires, big oil and Wall Street – and supports Republican control of the Senate – Elizabeth Warren has been there for middle class families and small businesses.  This strong support will help propel the campaign to victory in November.”
