New Warren Ad: One Vote Could Put Republicans in Control of the U.S. Senate

SOMERVILLE, MA - Consumer advocate and U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren released a new ad today highlighting why the people of Massachusetts can't afford to re-elect Scott Brown and put Republicans in the majority in the Senate. USA Today recently noted that Massachusetts “could decide control of the Senate.”

With Republicans in control of the Senate, education, Medicare, and a woman's right to choose could be jeopardized, and middle-class families would pay for additional tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires.

As reported in the Boston Globe, Brown’s national fundraising frequently highlights the importance of Republican control of the Senate – a stance far out of line with most residents of Massachusetts.

Elizabeth Warren would be a strong voice and advocate for students, seniors, women and middle-class families across the Commonwealth to level the playing field and give everyone a fair shot.

Video of the ad is available here. Transcript is below.

Announcer: Just one vote, just one Senator, could put Republicans in control of the United States Senate. Scott Brown could be that Senator. What would Republican control mean? Deep cuts in education, Medicare. New tax breaks for millionaires. The next Supreme Court justice could overturn Roe v. Wade. One vote could make the difference. Your vote against a Republican Senate. Your vote for Elizabeth Warren.

Elizabeth Warren: I'm Elizabeth Warren, and I approve this message.
